Tattoo Aftercare:Tattoos take seven to ten days to heal completely. However some may take longer, and others may not take as long. After getting a tattoo, you will most likely have a bandage put on it. Leave this on for thirty miinutes to an hour, no longer than twenty- four hours.When the bandage is removed wash the tattoo with your hand and a mild antibacterial soap (Dial). Do not use a rag! They are a haven for bacteria and can pull off skin and color in the tattoo.After washing the tattoo pat it dry with a paper towell, again do not use a rag or hand towell they are havens for bacteria and a tattoo is an open wound. Let it air dry for fifteen to twenty minutes then apply a thin layer of A&D ointment for the first 24hrs. after that switch to Aquaphor (can be found at Walmart or Walgreens) the thiner the better you may have to re apply the ointment more frequently, but this will allow faster healing. Try to keep the tattoo as dry as possible, water causes a nasty scab. You want to avoid a big scab on your tattoo because this can cause a loss of color in your tattoo.ContactAboutAftercareArt WorkPiercing Aftercare: It takes a full year for any piercing to heal, though it may feel fine after a few weeks. Continue following the care instructions for a full year, to insure proper healing. There are two different types of piercing aftercare. For mouth or tongue piercings You will need to get a bottle of mouth wash, you will use this after you eat, drink, smoke, or after anything goes in your mouth.No Oral Sex for two weeks after getting the piercing. You can change the jewlry after two weeks though it is recomended that you leave the jewlry that you were pierced with in as long as possible.For all other Body PiercingsYou will recieve a bottle of Antimircrobrial Soap, this Soap is stronger than antibacterial soap so misuse of this soap can cause a chemical burn. Chemical burns may seem like an infection. Do not remove the piercing and call us as soon as you think something is wrong. Wash the piercing ONCE a day with the Soap. Do this in the shower, after you have washed everything else and done everything else you normally do in the shower. Take the smallest amount of the soap as possible lather it on the jewlry, work the jewlry back and forth ten times. Get the piercing under the water and work it back and forth ten more times or until you feel the skin around the piercing get tight, this means that all the soap is out. If the piercings gets crusty use a q-tip and saline solution (contact solution). With CLEAN hands apply Saline to the q-tip and work the crusty part of the piercing.
